And the money kept rolling in...from every side

I'm not motivated to write another entry about boobies, but if you're panting to read about them, Persia has an entry up discussing hers (and, incidentally, her pustulating boob wound, which I alluded to in another entry). Viva la boob!

Spent the morning vaccuming dead bugs out of one of our storage areas, and yes, it was every bit as thrilling as that makes it sound. Actually, there is a certain pleasure in listening to the nasty things go *thwwwwip* and get sucked away, never to trouble your life again. Vaccumning is quite cathartic.

Currently accessioning a wedding certificate that dates to 1850, and a 50 year anniversary party from 1900 for the same couple. I was pondering that - for us it seems like such a brief span of time, fifty years, just a *poof* in the scheme of things, but fiftieth anniversarys are not exactly common. As somebody who last January celebrated four years, I think I should be a little more respectful of the span of fifty years!

Going to try to be good and not spend money this week. I promise. Really. No more excursions to Target, the grocery store, or the going-out-of-buisness K-Mart (although the ten percent discount they were offering wasn't enough to tempt me to go nuts there, so that's not really a problem). It was nice to have that extra paycheck last month, but I can't think of it as some sort of bonus money that I can spend mindlessly.
