A Guardian Devil

I was able to stand all of about five minutes of Am I Hot? or whatever the fuck that show is called before switching over to Survivor. I watched during the commercial breaks, but it was pretty clear that the show isn't going to be bad in a fun way, just bad in a bad way. Fox would probably have done a sleezier, and therefore more entertaining, job. On the other hand, I did enjoy it when they yelled at a girl for being to skinny.

Survivor looks fair to hook me this year, the first time I've ever been interested in actually watching it all season. Of course, Television Without Pity has a large part to play in that. Shows are more addictive when you can go on the boards and discuss them ad infinetium after they're done with.

Went to see Daredevil with The Bemo. It's a fun movie, bordering on great at points - choppy editing and a use on songs rather than a score are minuses, but Jennifer Gardner and Ben Affleck have genuine chemistry, and Bullseye is wonderfully over the top psychocrazy. There's some nice playing with the superhero trope that I enjoyed a lot.

Going to see Bemo and the band play tomorrow. But we're set to have snow dumped on us, so work tomorrow might be interesting, and the band might not be able to play due to transportation issues. But I get Monday off for President's Day, so whoohoo! Long weekend's rock.
