Our visitor surveys turned up these two gems: When asked to comment on the period rooms, a visitor asked that we include "more period harmony." Which is...what, exactly? Another visitor did not get the point of the quilt exhibit, as she left without the knowledge of how to quilt. As opposed to all those painting exhibits where she left with the knowledge of how to do a nice portrait in oils. My Italian Phrase-A-Day calendar says, "Mettiamoci al lavoro," or "Let's get to work!"
