all quiet on the Eastern front

Nothing all that much to report recently, so I haven't done any writing. Bad weather and ordinary days at work don't make the most compelling journal entries. Everybody else seems to be having the exciting life - from my sister getting asked out by her long-standing guyfriend to Cherbear discovering that she's been chatting via email with a guy that Bemo and I knew very well from the days of college radio, to Persia telling us the story of her mom finding a busted pipe in her basement and deciding that the appropriate response to this disaster was calling the police...well, my life looks pretty tame right about now.

On the other hand, at least tame means that nothing drastically *bad* is happening either. So I can't say that I'm really broken up about things being quiet.
