They probably are teepeeing a cheerleaders house even as I write

Persia has a new kitten. Her new kitten is an honor roll student. She will never need braces. She is spunky and fearless and will no doubt be on the soccer team and will have a big circle of friends. She will probably get a scholarship and go on to med school.

My current two kittens are street punks. They skip class and smoke ciggies behind the gym. They hide around corners and hiss, and flip people the bird. They chase boys, and sass off to their teachers. They will probably spend a year or two in community college before they get their act together.

They also adore Dexter and follow him around like two matching shadows. One of them fell asleep stretched out on the recliner today, while her sister eyed Ahab the betta fish and pondered how best to eat him for dinner. They played with the ribbons of a toy I dangled for them, and batted around the treats I offered, finally consenting to eat them. Their names appear to be Magpie (Maggie) and Syd (Vicious), although we haven't confirmed the Syd name. It might be Agatha, or Crowe. We'll see what sticks.

They are tough, and they are learning how to be loved. It's a hard lesson, but they're slowly learning it.
