Andare, Partire, Tornare ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Giant! Van Gogh! Bedrooms! There isn't all that much to say at the moment. Work has just now slowed from its formerly hectic pace, which means I'm stuck with the hideously boring job of putting bibilographic information into the database. The massive Xeroxing and filing portion of the task will be coming up as early as tomorrow, perhaps. That is, of course, unless we're all blown away by the hurricane, which isn't likely. But we will probably get lashings of rain, and the last time that happened, we had plaster soften in one of the period rooms and a mirror fell, causing some havoc. Mom hasn't called in a while, which makes me edgy, although it's also a nice relief. But, you know, although I hate being phoned at multiple random moments at work, I do at least know what she's up to. But honestly, work had been kicking my ass, especially at the 'Mart (god, eight hours of standing and I just want to die), and Phase One of Geni's Dental Adventures took place yesterday, meaning I was in very little mood to do anything other than sleep. Found out that I was apparently the only person not aware that the paper option *was* an option, as opposed to the thesis. So, feh. It was good news when I got it, anyway. And it's not like I was spending an excruciating amount of time processing things through the Thesis Office up till now. Going with Flirty Feminist to the Corcoran to see their magnificently absurd exhibit by this guy who does big statues taken from Impressionist paintings. The Washington Post slammed it unmercifully, but we will go and be happy at the wonderful campyness.
